Speak PR is an independent public relations firm that helps organizations find their voice, tell their story and share it with their broader audience. The Speak PR team has years of leadership experience in the for and non-profit arenas. Our team includes former TV news executives, reporters, and brand specialists with decades of media expertise, as well as individuals with extensive public affairs knowledge. Speak's relationships with print and broadcast news, as well as communitywide and statewide political connections, will help you share your story with a broader audience. We execute and manage your strategic brand and public relations plan including an extensive evaluation of the best avenues for success with media relations, media planning and purchasing, media and marketing vendor relations. We formulate a strategy for any rebranding efforts to ensure all mediums - printed and electronic - align with an established and congruent brand direction and manage any production efforts across all marketing and branding initiatives. We push all content out into your targeted audience and maintain a strong collaberative consulting relationship with you to help maintain that our plan for execution is succeeding.

Carolyn began her career in the for-profit world managing the sales and marketing efforts of a software development firm. She grew this company into a multi-million dollar firm that still exists as the largest privately held in its in market. Carolyn has since worked in the management of non-profits and served in leadership positions for health, social justice and arts and culture non-profits. Carolyn serves on the boards of a number of non-profits in the community, is a member of Nexus Women's Business Alliance and has served as a mentor in the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation's Community Connect program and the New Leadership Council.

Jeremiah began his career in 2005 working with small businesses in the local Des Moines area as a freelance designer. Since then, he has worked with several high profile clients such as: Visa, Uber, Cotton Incorporated, INC Magazine, Berkshire Hathaway, Twitter, Mule Software and Samsung. He continues to advocate creating branding and marketing solutions for small businesses nationwide while staying true to his roots as an active visual artist working in various mediums from his design studio in southern Des Moines. Jeremiah is our leader in creative direction for all marketing and design efforts for our clients as well as marketing strategy. He holds an undergraduate degree from Grandview University in Visual Art and Graphic Design.

An Emmy-award winning broadcast journalist with reporting experience in print, radio, and television, Beecher managed television newsrooms for NBC and CBS affiliates in Iowa and Missouri for twenty-five years. He started Beecher Public Relations in 2004 in Des Moines after stints at WHO-TV, Des Moines, KWWL-TV, Waterloo, and KTIV-TV, Sioux City, as well as KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. A native of Waterloo, Iowa, Beecher resides in West Des Moines with his wife, where he is active in a number of non-profit ventures dealing with social justice issues. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a graduate degree from Loyola University of New Orleans, LA.
